Who do I talk to about my NOMAD Swim Team bill?

Who are the Managers/Owners of NOMAD Aquatics & Fitness?
A: Mark Minier is the owner of the facility.  Leigh Brown is the General Manager.

Does your facility have anything other than pools in it?
A: Yes! NOMAD has 2 pools, a Pro Shop, Child Watch (only for members), cardio equipment, a weight room, Group Exercise classes, personal training, and and more!  We have all you need in 1 stop!

Is NOMAD Aquatics & Fitness family owned and run?
A: Yes, it is.

Do I have to sign a contract?
A: No.  Most of our memberships carry no contract.

What type of swim lessons do you offer?
A: We offer group lessons, private lessons and semi-private lessons. Visit our Swim Academy page under the “What We Offer” tab.

 

Do you have activities for Senior Citizens?
A: We do! We offer Water Aerobics, Silver Sneakers,  Arthritis Therapy, and discounts for Senior individuals and couples! For more information, see the front desk. 704-949-1555 or email info@nomadaquatic.com.

Do you have activities for kids?
A: Yes! We have the NOMAD Karate Club, swim lessons, swim team and After School care.

Do I have to give you drafting information to join your facility?
A: Drafting information is not required but is the most convenient option for memberships.

Are you hiring?
A: We are always looking for responsible, experienced and friendly candidates for future job openings. If you would like us to have your resume on file, feel free to drop one off at our front desk or ask for an application.

I am interested in having my child join NOMAD Swim Team. Where do I begin?
A: If you want to join NOMAD Swim Team, contact us at swimteam@nomadaquatic.com or 704-949-1555 to set up a try-out!

Are you ever going to build an outdoor pool?
A: We have definitely thought about it! We hope to – one day!

 

Membership FAQ’s

Who do I contact about canceling my membership to the facility?
A: You can contact our General Manager, Leigh Brown or stop by the NOMAD office to complete a cancellation form. You can reach Leigh via email at leigh@nomadaquatic.com. To cancel your membership, we must have a 30 day written notice of your cancellation with your reason for cancelling.

I am interested in becoming a member of your facility. How much does a membership cost?
A: We offer several different types of memberships at NOMAD to fit your needs.  Contact the front desk to check out pricing and any specials we may be running.

How do I check-in when I come to use the Nomad facility?
A: Anyone entering the facility must check in at the front desk.  Members can use a barcode or their NOMAD app (called NOMAD Fitness) to scan into the building.

I will be traveling for a month and I don’t want to be charged for the facility, how can I stop my draft for that month?
A: Nomad permits members to put their memberships on hold for up to 3-months per year. In order to put your membership on hold, you will need to contact Leigh and complete a written hold request.

I have a membership, but I have not been using the facility, can you not charge me for the month I didn’t use the facility?
A: Unless you cancel your membership or put your membership on hold, you will be charged the monthly fee regardless of how often you visited the facility that month.

Are the pools always available for open swim?
A: Not always.  Check out our pool schedule under the About Us-Facility tab
